I. Machine room design
1. the unit should be arranged horizontally, when restricted by the building site, can be arranged vertically.
2. when the machine room and control room adjacent to the generator outlet and cable trench should be close to the distribution room.
3.the battery should be close to the starter motor side
4. the machine room should have enough fresh air inlet. Hot air and exhaust ducts should be extended outdoors, the air inlet should be set in the motor side, the exhaust set in the water tank side.
5.the machine room should be used unit noise and machine room sound insulation comprehensive treatment measures.
II.the noise reduction treatment methods
1.Unit installed on the concrete floor: * should be poured on the floor of the concrete floor.
* A reinforced concrete base should be poured on the floor.
* Concrete base should be qualified after one month 173KPa pressure test.
* The concrete base should be higher than the floor at least 150mm, and the extension unit chassis should be extended at least 150mm on each side, and the concrete base should be pre-buried with “J” or “L” type ground bolts.
2. The unit is fixed on the chassis type fuel tank.
* Engine, engine and fuel tank must be installed between the damper.
* The structure and strength of the fuel tank must be able to withstand the static and dynamic loads of the unit.
* There must be a certain distance between the bottom of the fuel tank and the ground, which is convenient for inspection and maintenance. 3.

III. Inlet and exhaust system
1. Use hangers or brackets to support the exhaust pipe and booster.
2. Bellows are strictly prohibited to be used as elbows and to compensate for installation errors.
3. For units over 200kW, use stainless steel bellows over 610mm.
4. Horizontal laying of the exhaust pipe set 0.3-0.5% slope, slope to the outdoor, the lowest point of the drain valve.
5. When configuring the engine exhaust pipe, it is forbidden to use the pipe whose diameter is smaller than the exhaust port.
6. If the exhaust pipe must be bent upwards, a drain plug should be set at the starting point of the rise.
7. When installing multiple generator sets, special attention should be paid to the shared exhaust pipe.
8. Separate support muffler with insulation layer.
IV. Cooling system
1. The air inlet should be set at the generator end or both sides of the generator, the area should be larger than the water tank area 2.2 times.
2. The area of air outlet should be 1.5 times of the water tank area, and should be installed in the air outlet shutters and windbreaks.
3. Use flexible duct flange to connect with the water tank to absorb unit displacement and vibration and prevent noise propagation.
4. Hot air must be discharged to the outside of the room through the duct, the duct cross-sectional area should be a smooth transition from small to large, such as the existence of bends in the duct, it is necessary to install a deflector to reduce the pressure loss.
5. When the ambient temperature is higher than the design temperature, consider power reduction.
6. Directly install radiator cooling system.
7. Directly install the heat exchanger cooling system.

VI. Introduction of self-starting unit
Function Introduction
The main and auxiliary self-starting units have an interlocking design, which ensures that the main and auxiliary units will not be supplied with power at the same time, resulting in short-circuit problems.
When the utility power failure, automatically start the main engine, when the main engine can not start for some reasons or in case of alarm shutdown, automatically and quickly start the secondary engine. When the utility power is restored and the mainframe failure is not eliminated, the system automatically places the secondary machine in the main standby state.
When the temperature of the machine room is lower than the set temperature, the oil and water heater is automatically turned on to ensure that the unit can be quickly started at any time; the oil and water heater is automatically shut down during the engine running process.
The main engine, sub-machine and control cabinet are equipped with automatic floating charging source to ensure that the battery is in good condition at any time.
